This home in Palo Alto now features sweeps of garden beds, decomposed granite pathways, and curving lines through concrete. The front yard has a lyric, playful look.

The custom metal gate with whimsical circles evokes a child blowing bubbles. the sweep of darker concrete continues the flowing feeling into the back yard.

A pool was removed in the back yard and a garage was converted to a studio. The process was a fruitful collaboration of the designer and clients who have lived in the house for a number of years and were ready for a sweeping change.
